Happy 4th of July, friends!

For some reason, it doesn't seem like it's already time for this mid-summer holiday. Maybe it's because the weather here in Skaneateles has been on the cooler side, even for our usual not-so-sweltering summer temperatures.

Nonetheless, we're down for a little patriotic grilling session!

Don't get me wrong - I certainly don't have anything against bar carts. In fact I love using them whenever the party's happening in a space that doesn't have a "real" bar handy .

We've all had a love/hate relationship with formal dining rooms for the past several years... and I'm not so sure the advice we've gotten from the interior design community has been altogether helpful. 

After spending a loooonnnng winter knee deep in snow (both on and off the slopes!), this Central NY  mama is ready to get a little warm weather style in her life - pronto!

The wonderful folks over at The Coastal Table magazine asked us to weigh in on the top design trends we're seeing this spring, Of course, you should definitely grab a copy of the magazine so you won't miss one bit of their artful take on savoring all the best of the coastal lifestyle...
